Soy tempeh is a plant-based protein made by fermenting cooked soybeans with a Rhizopus mold—a traditional process that takes up to 3 days. This natural fermentation not only enhances the nutritional profile of soybeans but also gives tempeh its signature umami-rich, nutty, and slightly mushroom-y flavor. Its firm and chewy texture makes it a satisfying and versatile meat alternative for any dish.
Ingredients: Non-GMO soybeans, Rhizopus Oligosporus Culture, water and vinegar.
Cooking Tip: Marinate, fry, or deep fry it.
Storage: Brown spots and black spores on surface are normal and do not indicate spoilage. Keep frozen. Use within two days of thawing.

Cooking Instruction:
1. Simply thaw before cooking or place in hot water to thaw faster.
2. Marinate in hot water with salt and garlic (or your choice of marinade). Leave it for at least 4 hours or overnight, Or simply use it right away after thawing. The secret to tempeh done right is by simmering it to help tempeh absorb the flavor of any sauce or broth.
Storage: Keep frozen. Thaw or chill before cooking. Use within two days after thawing.
