La Dai - Balikutsa

Rediscover the charm of Filipino tradition with La Dai’s Balikutsa — a palmier-shaped candy made from pure sugarcane. Enjoy its natural sweetness as a nostalgic sweet treat or melted into your favorite tea, coffee, or hot chocolate.

Made using time-honored methods, the sugarcane is first crushed in a machine called Dadapilan (traditional press), then boiled in a sinublan pot until thick and syrupy. The dense extract is spun to cool, stretched until white, and finally rolled at both ends into its signature shape.
